Job Description
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Enrolled Nurses/Nursing Aides/Healthcare Assistants with regards to their duties according to their roster assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
- Deliver safe, evidence-based, and person-centred nursing care to residents in accordance with established clinical standards and care plans.
- Assist and supervise residents during mealtimes, including feeding.
- Work with the Enrolled Nurses/Nursing Aides to order medication and medical supplies.
- Administer oral/topical medication and injections.
- Conduct regular nursing rounds to monitor residents’ condition, safety, and comfort.
- Prepare and attend to any Doctor or Allied Health Professional’s visit when required.
- Timely documentation in the Care Management System.
- Be prepared to work assigned shifts and on-call duties when required.
- Orientation of visitors when necessary.
