Our education client is hiring a remote Classification Strategy Consultant to support their team in Washington, DC!!
Responsibilities:
- Review existing classification and compensation practices and provide recommendations aligned with industry standards and public sector best practices.
- Assist in the development of policy language, guidance documents, and procedural frameworks related to position classification, job description standards, and reclassification and review processes.
- Provide technical review of proposed job structures and classification decisions.
- Support HR leadership in establishing sustainable processes and governance for maintaining the classification structure.
Qualifications:
- Completed bachelor's degree
- 5+ years' experience defining and maintaining classification structure within an HR office
