Structural Engineer Career Level

Coordinate with other engineering / architectural disciplines on projects which he is assigned to ensure disciplines are aligned. Coordinate with client or client representative to ensure expectations for structural design are met. Produce mathematical calculations for the structures required by his assigned projects, utilizing various material of construction (i.e., concrete, steel, masonry, wood, etc). Produce engineering drawings for the structures he has designed using REVIT. Delegate engineering calculations and drawings to other engineers and designers and provide quality control oversight for their production. Design structures, such as buildings; create structural models by using computer aided design software (REVIT). Create calculations including loads and pressures caused by environmental and equipment influence. Selection of appropriate construction materials. Provide construction support.
