Structural Welder

Job Description:
We are currently seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team at Blount Island Naval Base. This role involves performing high-quality welding on structural steel components in support of military and defense-related operations. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working in a secure, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural welding using FCAW, SMAW, and/or GMAW processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
• Conduct inspections of completed welds to verify compliance
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
