Responsibilities
- Hands‑on experience in commissioning WASH projects, e.g. water filtration plant; UF, UV, RO (Reverse Osmosis) plants, hand pumps, solar‑based water scheme, and WASH in schools.
- Handle client, consultant, and contractor independently.
- Have up‑to‑date knowledge of the use of equipment in water filtration systems.
- Know about water quality testing.
- Know water bore‑holes and construction.
- Supervise and be responsible for all technical aspects of project implementation, ensuring that contractors complete project work in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner with respect to standard engineering.
- Provide feedback to the Area Office and the Country Office to assess the effectiveness and impact of the projects and propose recommendations for improvement.
