About the role:

As a Substation Project Engineer, you will help support day‑to‑day maintenance and equipment replacement across substations. You will focus on brownfield engineering—building like‑for‑like equipment replacements, troubleshooting field issues, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of existing substation assets. In this hybrid role, your typical week includes Mon/Fri remote work and Tue–Thu onsite at the Denver office, with regular substation field visits. We count field time toward your normal hours, and we expect no routine overtime.
You will scope and lead equipment replacement projects, including breakers, switches, transformers, relays, bushings, and arresters. You will prepare and manage work packages, initiate and coordinate material requisitions.
