Substitute Teacher for Father R. Perin School
Northland School Division is seeking Substitute Teachers at Father R. Perin School for the school year. The kindergarten to grade 9 school is located in the community of Janvier, Alberta. Janvier is situated approximately 120 kilometers from Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Major Responsibilities
- Following the prescribed program of studies for each subject taught.
- Plan and execute daily lessons based on short, medium and long range planning.
- Provide feedback to students and parents in a regular, timely manner.
- Champion Cree language/culture revitalization and curriculum infusion.
- Support school-parent-community engagement.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and commit to collaborative-decision making.
- Promote differentiated instruction to meet diversity in learning needs.
