Job Description
Responsible for overseeing the set-up, maintenance and safe and efficient operations of the lifting equipment . He/She is responsible for co‑ordinating and supervising all lifting activities in accordance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on the job site.
- Ensure all lifting equipment is certified, inspected, and suitable for the intended task.
- Prepare and review lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and pre‑lift briefings with lifting teams.
- Monitor lifting crew (crane operators, riggers, and signalmen) to ensure safe practices.
- Ensure all lifting activities comply with health and safety regulations (e.g., LOLER, OSHA).
