Supervisor of Transit

Department/Division: Community Services / Transit Division

Location: On-Site (Stratford, ON)

Duties:

Reporting to the Manager of Transit, the Supervisor of Transit is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and service delivery of the Transit and Parallel Transit system.

Lead and coordinate daily/weekly work schedules, monitor operations and service delivery performance of routes according to corporate and legislative requirements and standards.

Analyze statistical data regarding ridership trends and prepare reports with recommendations to the Transit Manager.

Lead day-to-day departmental administrative functions including customer contacts, data, records management and payroll activities.

Ensure practices are consistent with the Collective Agreement, Standard Corporate Operating Procedures, health & safety practices, employment standards and related regulations.
