Job Description
Summary The Supervisory Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) will serve as the Chief Radiologic Technologist at the Detroit VA Medical Center. The incumbent will have full responsibility for technical aspects and patient care functions within the general radiography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology. The incumbent has direct supervisory responsibility over the technologist and subordinate staff in the Nuclear Medicine Section. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following: Analyze and evaluate workload, productivity, work distribution, staffing patterns, and make and implement major managerial recommendations to improve the quality and productivity of the Diagnostic Radiology, Cat Scan (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology (IR).
