Supervisory Supply Technician

Summary This position is for the Medical Supply Distribution (MSD) areas of the Logistics service in a Veteran Affairs Health Care System (VA HCS) and supported catchment area. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure that supplies and material are distributed to all areas serviced by Logistics. Responsible for directing, supervising and managing the primary inventory point that receives stores and issues supplies and material. Responsibilities Major duties include but not limited to: Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Oversees the maintenance of stock at primary and secondary inventory locations for all clinical and administrative services. Ensures items are delivered in a timely and accurate manner and in sterile and operational condition. Hears and resolves complaints from employees, group grievances and serious complaints.
