Systems Engineer - GMD Weapons Systems (GWS)

Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks.
The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.
**The Work**
The Systems Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency’s GMD Weapon System program by performing systems engineering activities across requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification, analysis, and technical coordination. The engineer will work with software, test, cybersecurity, integration, product teams, and customer stakeholders to help ensure system capabilities meet mission, technical, and program requirements.
