Technical Team Lead - Life Insurance Systems

Technical Leadership & Delivery

• Direct the design, development, and maintenance of Life Insurance Policy Administration Systems.
• Lead code reviews, set architectural standards, and unblock the team on complex technical hurdles.
• Create system and technical documentation as needed.

New Software Implementation

• Act as the primary technical architect for the rollout of a new PAS platform (CalcFocus).
• Collaborate with business owners and the vendor to oversee environment setup, product configuration, and business rule engine alignment.

Legacy to Modern Migration

• Define and execute strategies to migrate complex books of business from legacy environments (Mainframe/Linux/Assembly Language) to modern platforms (CalcFocus/Java/MS SQL Server).
• Own the data mapping, ETL logic, and financial reconciliation processes.
