**What you'll do...**
Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines. Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures. Observes and documents signs of wear and tear. Gathers capital expense information. Recommends repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs. Determines replacement needs. Documents preventive maintenance activities. Uses heavy machinery. Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors by completing and providing required written and electronic information (for example, expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs). Conducts price comparison of parts and travel-related costs. Orders parts and replacement equipment and tracking orders. Records purchases and usage. Submits warranty claims.
