Job Description
Tool Engineer
What you’ll do:- Lead tooling development from early design phase to production, driving part and tool design for processes such as die casting, plastic injection molding, and PU, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and performance from kickoff to SOP.
- Drive supplier and cross-functional collaboration, working closely with internal engineering teams and external suppliers to support tool development, negotiate technical solutions, and ensure quality and timing during new product launches.
- Optimize tooling performance and processes, leveraging simulation tools (Moldflow), CAD design (CATIA/SolidWorks), and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and ensure robust tool validation.
