Toolmaker

The Tool Maker is responsible for the fabrication, maintenance, repair, and modification of molds, tooling, jigs, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process. The role ensures that production tools are maintained in optimal working condition to support quality, productivity, and on-time delivery requirements. The Tool Maker also performs precision machining and polishing in accordance with engineering drawings and company standards.

• Studies and interprets mold design drawings, engineering specifications, and technical requirements prior to fabrication or repair.
• Fabricates, assembles, modifies, and repairs molds, tooling, jigs, and fixtures used in production.
• Performs precision polishing of mold inserts according to drawing specifications, achieving surface finish requirements from SPI B1 to SPI A1.
