About the Role
As a Trainee Cable Jointer, you will support the team with the installation, replacement, and repair of underground electricity distribution assets. You’ll be hands‑on in the field while receiving ongoing training, mentoring, and development to help you grow into a qualified Cable Jointer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, replacement, and repair of underground distribution cables
- Excavate and reinstate underground cable installation sites
- Participate in, complete, and pass block courses and associated unit standards within required timeframes
- Support the team with accurate and timely completion of field paperwork, reports, and asset documentation
- Help the team meet customer, company, and regulatory performance standards
