Transmission Planning Engineer III
Position Overview
As a Transmission Planning Engineer III, you will serve as a technical leader within OPPD's Transmission Planning team, performing advanced engineering evaluations and helping shape the district's future transmission strategy. You will independently execute medium¿ and high-complexity studies, mentor junior team members, refine standards, and support cross-discipline coordination. Your work will directly influence major planning decisions, project scopes, and interconnection commitments.

+ Lead advanced transmission system studies using industry¿standard tools and modeling best practices
+ Develop and recommend solution alternatives that feed into OPPD's long-term expansion plans
+ Manage project components, ensuring scope, schedule, and technical quality are met
+ Lead significant portions of interconnection and system impact evaluations
