Ultrasound Technologist, Per Diem-General Sonography / Hospital

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Ultrasound Technologist, Per Diem-General Sonography / Hospital.

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing diagnostic examinations using sonography. The Ultrasound Technologist may be responsible depending on work location for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, reports of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The sonographer maintains aHigh standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase their level of understanding & knowledge of the field, disease(s), and new procedures as they evolve.

Job Responsibilities:

Operates Ultrasound equipment to take diagnostic images of specific body areasparts as ordered. Produces diagnostic images for interpretation by physician. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Ultrasound equipment.
