Core purpose of the post:

Effective handling and underwriting of Agri, Commercial and Personal lines with regard to insurance as well as general administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Grade 12;
• FAIS Accreditation (relevant qualification, RE5 & CoB – will be beneficial);
• Previous work experience in underwriting or short-term insurance environment
• Agri and Commercial product knowledge / training with regard to short-term insurance.

Skills:

• Good communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Good organizational ability;
• Must be able to function under pressure;
• Deadline driven and good planning ability;
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality;
• The ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships.
