The Victims’ Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP) is seeking a dedicated Victim Service Specialist. In this crucial role, you will process claims, conduct investigations, and manage caseloads while advocating for victims' needs. You will work closely with law enforcement and community resources to ensure victims receive the necessary support during their recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply victims’ rights laws and regulations for case processing
• Serve as a liaison with victims and their families
• Document, verify, and maintain accurate case files
• Provide victim advocacy in court when needed
• Assist with trial preparation and notifications
Requirements:
• Two to eight years of experience as noted in different levels
