Job Description
The Vice President Operations is responsible for creating long-term strategic manufacturing plans as well as leading and ensuring the execution all matters relating to material and production control, process improvement, quality, capacity, and planning for all locations.They will evaluate all existing systems, processes, and metrics with a view to recommending and then implement continuous improvement mechanisms and disciplines which will minimize production costs and waste while maximizing production quality and throughput.No less important, the Vice President Operations will achieve these results by cultivating positive relationships across the organization while nurturing a culture of excellence.Reporting to this role are the manufacturing site operations directors, continuous improvement director, and advance manufacturing engineering director.
