Technical Program Manager (Salesforce TPM)
A Technical Program Manager at Salesforce (or in a Salesforce-focused role) is responsible for the end-to-end execution of complex technical initiatives. They bridge the gap between high-level organizational strategy and technical engineering execution.
Core Responsibilities:
- Program Delivery: Overseeing the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from initiation to completion using Agile and Lean methodologies.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Leading Steering Committee meetings to make key decisions, remove obstacles, and align vision across cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Leads, UX).
- Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identifying blockers, managing dependencies across multiple scrum teams, and developing mitigation strategies.
- Process Improvement: Driving engineering excellence by refining release planning and program structures.
