**Job Description**
The Welder performs a wide range of welding and fabrication tasks to support the maintenance, repair, and construction of industrial equipment and components. This role uses multiple welding processes and tools, interprets technical drawings, and follows strict safety and quality standards while completing assigned projects and other related tasks as needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, general arrangement drawings, and sub-component detail drawings to determine job requirements.
+ Perform MIG, arc, TIG, and flux core welding on a variety of materials and components.
+ Maintain, repair, rebuild, and fabricate parts as required for all types of industrial equipment.
+ Carry out preventive maintenance inspections, diagnose equipment problems, perform necessary repairs, and report findings to supervision.
