Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Welder Assistant to join our team in Karachi. As a Welder Assistant you will work closely with our experienced welders to assist in the fabrication and repair of metal structures.
Responsibilities
- Assist welders in setting up and preparing materials for welding
- Cut shape and fit metal parts using various tools such as grinders and saws
- Operate welding equipment under the supervision of a certified welder
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment
- Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of welding techniques, tools and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
