Job Description
Kalagadi Manganese Mine is situated in the town of Hotazel 70km from Kuruman, Northern Province.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Communicating winding engine defects to the appropriate supervisor.
- Co-ordinating winding activities with total process requirements.
- Completing of winding engine driver logbook.
- Escalating abnormal operation problems to the Engineer.
- Responding to standard and special code of signals.
- Ensure safe operation of the winding plant at all times.
- Assisting during breakdowns or emergencies.
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent.
- Winding Engine Driver's certificate (DMRE Appointed).
- Onsetter certificate.
- Good communication skills in English.
